Repairs
We carry out scheduled maintenance on machines to keep them in tip-top, reliable condition, as well as repairs and renovations. We aim to provide an A1 swift service, with collection and return timed for your convenience. Obviously it is far better to send your machine in for it's annual service at the end of the season or during the winter months, rather than at the start of the mowing season when we are likely to be rush off our feet, but we will always do our level best to give you the very highest level of service at all times.
For our regular annual service of a rotary lawn mower we clean the machine from the ground up and lubricate all working parts, sharpen and balance the blade, change the engine oil, clean and re-oil the air filter or replace if paper element type, replace the spark plug and give the engine a good tune up to ensure that it is running efficiently and that it will start just as it did when it was new.
The annual service of a cylinder lawn mower entails cleaning the machine from the ground up and lubricating all working parts, sharpening and setting the blades, changing the engine oil, cleaning and re-oiling the air filter or replacing if a paper element type, replacing the spark plug and administering engine a good tune up to ensure that the engine is running efficiently and that it will start just as it did when first purchased.
When we perform a full service on a ride-on mower we clean the machine from top to bottom, change all filters (oil, fuel and air) where required, change the engine oil, sharpen and balance the blade(s), lubricate all the moving parts and control cables, check and adjust if necessary the braking and steering systems, replace the spark plug(s) and give the engine a good tune up to ensure that it is running as efficiently as the first day it was driven out of the showroom. All the electrics are checked through.
